General Manager Bai Zhu-lan accepted the certificate on behalf of the company. She expressed gratitude to Kaohsiung Customs for their professional assistance during the verification process and hoped that the company would continue to strengthen its risk management mechanisms through the AEO security certification system to align with global trade trends.
Dolphin Kaohsiung branch was established on September 20, 2024. Its main business is sea and air freight import and export contracting and transportation. General Manager Bai Zhu-lan stated that the AEO review process allows for a comprehensive review of information security management, partner security, and risk assessment and control mechanisms. In conjunction with customs verification procedures, the company actively improves and refines its internal control systems. With this AEO certification, the company will uphold the spirit of AEO to continue ensuring the security of its logistics supply chain and providing even better services.
Kaohsiung Customs stated that the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) security certification system aims to establish a partnership between customs and businesses by providing legitimate and secure customs clearance benefits. Certified companies are deemed to comply with the international standards of the Global Standards for Security and Facilitation of Trade (SAFE Framework) established by the World Customs Organization (WCO). The fact that Dolphin Kaohsiung branch has obtained AEO certification for its contracted industry demonstrates the company's high regard for and active participation in international supply chain security.
Kaohsiung Customs further stated that AEO operators exporting goods to countries that have signed Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) with Taiwan, such as the United States, Singapore, South Korea, Israel, Australia, Japan, India, New Zealand, Guatemala, and Canada, enjoy the same customs clearance benefits as AEO operators in those countries, saving them significant time and costs.
